It features extensive hand stitching throughout the top of the quilt, binding the fabric and cotton wadding together. This adds texture and subtle profiling of the beautiful imagery within the quilt.

It's hand-knotted throughout the centre of the quilt and machine stitched twice around the border, which features mitred corners.

The top of the quilt is made with vintage cotton chintz from England in a stunning oriental-inspired pattern. The back is made from 100% cotton fabric printed in France. The back is assembled is a configuration that sees the striped fabric positioned in both horizontal and vertical directions.
